キンメリウム（Mare Cimmerium;220°、-30°）付近を中心とした地域のダストストームが淡くなっており、また、キンメリウムの南端もやや淡くなっていることがうかがわれる。濃いダストの中心はエレクトリス（Electoris;180°、-45°）と、エリダニア（Eridania;215°、-45°）の間付近に位置している。その他の部分については、特に明るい部分は見当たらなかった。北極地方の白雲は大きく２つに別れて見える。

The dust storm of near the Mere Cimmerium fainted today. And southern part of the Mare Cimmerium was faint, too. Dense dust storm looked on middle position of the Electris and the Eridania.
There was not a bright dust area on the Martian surface. The clouds of NPR looked separate.

8月に入り南中時刻が20時を切るようになりました。ダストトームの発生から火星を1周分観察したことになります。「キムメリア人の海」あたりの模様が確認できますが，その他の地域は極付近を除き，ダストストームの影響を強く受けています。
