Hello again,
In these jan 17 images, Europa was in transit (a very nice bright dot in IR).
The NEBs bright cloud and the SEBs spotty appearance previously mentioned are shown.
The longitudes of the methane-dark STB segments are visible.
On this night seeing was not as good as on jan15, but the faintly methane-bright NTZ oval described for that session is also minimaly visible on the 00:12 UT image.
Finaly, I also attach an animated gif obtained from images obtained on jan 14 and 17.
The first image includes Callisto before transit, and the second Europa plus shadow.
A nice demonstration of the dynamics of jovian cloudtops.
The apparent convergence of two STB dark spots (near CM) looks interesting...
