この日も18時以降から雲が切れ始めたものの薄雲に覆われることが多く，
大気の状態はいま一つでした。
　GRS(2系78度)の南側を永続白斑BA（85度)が通過中です。衛星カリストの
影が経過。

Hi all,
Here are some Jupiter images from Feb 16th. These images i would say are
my highest resolution images of the Planet to date.
Many tiny details are visible, including a dark marking on Ganymede
(the shadow is from Callisto.) This probably isnt Galileo Regio given Ganymede
is on the far side of its orbit in the image.
The feature is seen in all frames that were combined to make the image.
I had all but given up getting some high resolution images so late in the
apparition, given Jupiter has shrunk to 43".
Just goes to show those good nights can occur when you least expect them!.

Here is some more data from Feb 16th. This image was obtained 20 mins later
than the 1st image showing Ganymede, but also shows a small dark feature in
the southern hemisphere.
I attach a small comparison between the moon in each image, blown up in size.
The new image is also attached.


I finally managed to process all images from Feb 16th. I attach two further
images taken a while after those already sent, showing rifting within the NTB
and nice turbulence within the SEB.
