・この頃は、薄明終了前後のみ何とか見れるシ−イングで、
 時間がたつにつれ観測不能となることのくり返し‥、疲れ
 方がはなはだしいばかりです。皆さんはどうですか？
・注目のＢＡはその後端がＧＲＳ中央まで進みました。
・ＢＡ前方のＳＴＢがはっきり見えてきました。ＢＡ前端部から
 ＳＴＢ物質が放出されているように見えます。
・ＳＴｒＺの暗斑はＧＲＳ側に近づいてきました。
・ＳＳＴＢの白斑群がＢＡ南側を通過中。今のところ４個は見
 えています。
・ＮＥＢは相変わらず活発で、南北に分断されたように見え
 ています。

春霞のためか，透明度，大気の状態ともに良くありませんでした。
GRS(2系82度)がほぼ中央に見られる経度です。
南側を永続白斑BA(75度)が通過しています。
NEBのbargeが71度にnotchが79度に確認できます。

簡易メタンバンド作戦に破れ、また、
シーイングが安定しないこともあって木星は、
お手軽モードで（悪く言うと手抜きで）記録しています。

DiMAGE5で木星を撮って処理するのに、だいぶなれてきました。

12" (30.5cm) Meade SCT @ f/29.1. ST-5c camera.
SBIG RGB Filter set.

Total Exposure Times:

IR Light (800-1200nm): 15 x 0.35 secs
Green Light (+ IR Rejection.): 12 x 0.40 secs
Blue Light (+ IR Rejection.): 12 x 0.45 secs.

Seeing intially very poor (1-3) with fast seeing, improved later fair (4-5.)
Transparency excellent (5.5mag.) Wind blustery (NW-W, 10-20mph.)
No dew.

Jupiter's Equatorial Diameter= 40.8"
Altitude= 36 degs.


Hi all,

Here are some images from last night. Mediocre seeing and blustery
winds made things difficult, and i had hoped to observe the Oval
BA/GRS area, but seeing was amazingly to poor (due to high altitude
jetstream wind shears) to make any worthwhile images!.

I did catch the B-4 area later though. Jupiter was much lower in the
 sky , but seeing was better by then. Note the bright cloud  "eruption"
in the turbulence f. the GRS near the limb.
