Here is an observation from Houston Texas March 28th 2002 01:22 UT.
Presented are three images. The color composite is made from 29 unfiltered
images and 5 each rgbs. The middle image is made from the best three from
the 29 data set and the right image is made from the best single image. The
color image seems to show the SSTB ovals as an elongated unit. However the 3
image composite and the single image seem to show that the ovals may yet
still have some distinct characteristics. The assumption is that the color
composite from 29 images is of lower resolution ( as the seeing was only
5/10) since many marginal images were used to improve the S/N. More high
resolution images are needed. Also note the interesting detail in the
northern latitudes.
The sky was hazy with cirrus clouds, transparency fair 4/10, and seeing was
average, 5/10, with a 5 mph E. wind. No dew was present. The weather was
mild with the temperature about 70 F.

Image data:
5 BLUE + IR rejection, .3 seconds, SBIG filter
5 GREEN + IR rejection, .3 seconds, SBIG filter
5 RED + IR rejection, .3 seconds, SBIG filter
~29 clear filter, No IR .12 seconds, SBIG filter

Hi all,
Here are this evenings images. I obtained a red light image of the SSTC ovals about
1 hour before sunset, and conditions werent favourable. The oval and SSTBn gap are
visible though.
I also obtained a set of images later, showing B-4 on the CM under fair conditions,
though the wind had become quite blustery. The NEBn following B-4 has almost faded
back to its usual latitude, with only a line of material along the NTrZ remianing
here.
Best Wishes
Damian

Hi all,
Here is a Cylindrical projection map of the entire Planet on March 27th-29th, 2002. System 1 had
to be omitted due to rotational effects unfortunately. Note the NEBn edge difference in Latitude
at NEBn Barge 4, p. and f. it. Also the SSTB oval merger is in progress South of the GRS.
Best Wishes
Damian
