Hi all,
Here are some Jupiter images from this morning.
The GRS area was presented. The array of SSTC ovals is prominent,
though they are all still well seperated from each other.
The NTB appears rifted, though the NTBn at these longtiudes is
very faint.
Also note a small dark spot on the n.f rim of the GRS, which must
surely be rotating around it.
Best Wishes
Damian

This image should replace that sent and posted on 12-21. This image @ 10:07
was sent without resampling and you will find that this one is much more
suitable....
Hello to all....a couple of decent images on a very heavily frosted morning.
PLEASE NOTE my new e-mail address ( drclay@arksky.org ) and that all mail as
well as attachments should come to that address effective immediately.

This imaged in very steady skies; note the incredible activity within the
southern regions (top), including the large white STZ oval near the CM; dark
streak approaching CM in the NTB. A fine series of white/yellow ovals and
spots is aligned along the n. edge of the NEBn. Note that the SEB is
showing three distinct components throughout this longitudinal expanse. The
southern hemisphere from the STB southward certainly warrants close
observation at this time.

Seeing not as good as previously; nature of STZ oval is quite evident in
this image; very nice activity continues along the north edge of the NEBn;
note the series of dark gray streaks throughout longitudes of the NTB. Some
very chaotic nature in very high southern latitudes.
