Damian Peach

Syrtis Major, Sinus Sabaeus, and the dark band which surrounds
the North Pole are conspicuous well as Damian Peach points out.
Syrtis Major is mainly deteriorated thick. The center of
the Syrtis Major(295W、+5) becomes light. NPC was
deteriorated on Nobember 6th but today, it can not be
seen. There is possobility that Dust covers NPR.
The thing that the Hellas isn't white is important
information.

Here are some Mars images from Nov 13th and 14th. The
Planet is now just about high enough
to obtain some images. The main reason ive been able
to capture a reasonable level of detail
is by use of my camera's tiny, sub-frame mode,
allowing 2-3images/second.

Syrtis major looks prominent, with also Sabeaus Sinus
on the 13th, and dusky markings to around the NPC
area on both sets of images. Also not the faint
projection around the Mare Serpentis area, extending
south toward Hellas
seen in both sets.

Will obtain more when the seeing improves again (this
morning was to unsteady!.)
Best Wishes
Damian
