透明度は高い(transp. 5/5)ものの
強風をついての撮影となった。
上空ではヒューヒューと風がうな
りをあげている。
シーイングは平均４程度と思われ
るが、数分程度の比較的安定する
時間帯があるのでその間にシャッ
ターを押すよう心掛けた。上２段
がD152mm(F5)、以下D203mm(F7,6)
での撮影であるが、１コマ目の
撮影時間記録をミスった。
GRSは色調が濃くなっており
中央部に芯らしき暗部が認められる。
また、GRS後方のSEBはかなり活動
が活発である模様。NTBはほとん
ど認められなくなっている。
何時になれば揺らぎのない模様
が見られるのでしょうか。

Those images are the new bright spot outbreak f. the GRS.
It is cold in this winter in Japan, and the weather is bad,
and an seeing is especially bad, and there are few opportunities
to take a ccd image of the planet very much.

悪シ−イングで観測になりませんが、気になる
GRS付近ですので無理して撮影しました。
観測といえるような画像ではありませんが、報
告します。
２７時前、ピコナの電気接点シャッタ−の断線で、
ハンダ付けに３０分あまり苦闘しました。しかし、
強風になり、ますますシ−イングが悪化していく
ばかりで、観測終了しました。
・例のSEBの白斑は、小さいものが輝いています。
・STZ、SSTBには沢山の白斑が連続してつながっ
ています。ピコナのモニタ−でもかなり確認でき
ますから、相当明るいのでしょうか？。

Hi Jupiter Observers
Here is an observation from Houston Texas January 4th 2003 10:06 UT. High
pressure settled over Houston in the early mourning hours allowing very
steady skies. The transparency was excellent, 9/10, and seeing was good to
excellent, 8-9/10 with no wind and no dew. The weather was very cool with
the temperatures in the upper 40s F in the early mourning hours.
Ed Grafton, Houston Texas, ST5C CCD and a 14 inch f/11 Celestron SCT
Barlow Projection to f/27 aprox .21 arc seconds per pixel.
