Jupiter in poor conditions with surprising fine detail visible; much going
on here; note the NEB dark barges B-6, B-1 near CM; the SEB components (3)
within the dark and thick SEB complex are delineated nicely, with the
central SEB component skewing from horizontal pr. the CM; considerable
turbulent activity along s. edge of SEBs, this perhaps in conjunction with
the SEB activity fol. the GRS. Some very interesting brightening with
associated border/festooning approaching the CM within both the STZ and SSTZ
in similar longitudes. In the NEBn, note the distended nature of the north
edge pr. barge B-6 with what appear to be very small bright spots within
this north-shifted belt. One of the dark streaks of the NTB is noted as
rotating into view on lower left.

Hi all,
Here are some Jupiter images from early this morning.
Very poor seeing, coupled with gusty winds
made a real challenge for the webcam, but still
reasonable results were obtained for the bad
conditions.

The region p. the GRS was presented, and SSTC Ovals 1
& 2 can be seen.

Unfortuntley, the winds are still around 30-40mph now,
but at least its fairly sunny!.
Best Wishes
Damian
