コメント：
・シーイングも悪いが、カメラ設定を誤って
シャッター速度を1/50secで撮影したために、
画像が荒れてしまいました。x0.75に縮小。
・II=258.6°のbargeの後方にあるNTrZの白斑は
form-Zと呼ぶ長寿命のものだが、輝度がずいぶんと
明るくなっている。位置はII=267.3°。
・このform-Z白斑はドリフトが速いために、まもなく
前方のbargeを追い越すと思われます。

こんばんは、青森の根市です。
20030223の木星観測報告です。
画像を厳選する時間が無く、約１分間のビデオ画像から
自作ソフトでのRGB色ズレ補正でエラーになった分を除いた
2188フレームをコンポジットしました。
これだけのコンポジットに効果があるか疑問です。
私のシステムでは１２００〜１３００位が一番
コストパフォーマンスが良さそうです。

Hi Jupiter Observers
Here is an observation from February 23rd 2003 at 05:01 UT. The transparency
was excellent, 9/10. The seeing was average, 6/10 with a 3mph S. wind and
light dew. The weather was cool with the temperatures in the upper 50s F
around local midnight.

Barlow Projection to f/27 aprox .21 arc seconds per pixel.

Dear friends,
Tonight, the seeing was not as good as last night.
Especially after 15:00UT, clouds appeared on sky and
I could only shot the Jupiter through the gap.
The seeing was very flucuated, sometimes even the
NEB and SEB were totally washed out by the turbulence.
Attached was the one taken at 11:58 PM under relatively
steady moment. As it was shot through the thin cloud,
so the contrast and SN are quite low.

BTW, it is very interesting to see the dark streak on
the STB near CM splitted into some small dark spots!!!
The pattern looks similar to the one I took on 13 Jan.

Hi all,
Attached is the jupiter image from 23rd Feb 2003.
Note the dark material north of the GRS. The dark streak south of the GRS
seems to be breaking up.
