気流のよい時に観測ができている。主な目立つ模様は全て見えていた。
シルチス(Syrtis major;290W,+10)やサバエウス(Sinus Sabaeus;340W,-5)
が非常に良く見えていた。また、ヘレスポントス(Hellespontus;330W,-40)
が非常に濃く見えていた。ヘラス(Hellas;300W,-50)は明らかに見えるが、
白さはなく、黄色っぽく見え、砂漠の地肌が見えているようだ。北極付近
は白い雲がかかっている。また、南極冠は明るくよく見えていた。

  It can be observed when a seeing is good. All the main conspicuous
patterns cloud  be seen. The Syrtis major(290W,+10)  and Sinus
Sabaeus(340W,-5) cloud be seen well.  It seemed that the
Hellespontus(330W,-40) was very thick. It isn't white though the
Hellas(300W,-50) can be seen clearly. It can seem to see the ground
surface of the  yellow desert. The north Pole is covered with white
cloud. As for the South Pole,　it cloud be seen well.
