シルチス(Syrtis major;290W,+10)が非常に良く目立つ画像だ。
ペリア氏も指摘しているようにサバエウス;Sinus Sabaeus;340W,-5)
やヘレスポントス(Hellespontus,330W,-45)がよく分かるが、それよ
りもヘラス(Hellas;300W-50）の淡くなっているのが気になる。この
位置ではヘラスは明るく見えていなければならないが、はっきりし
ない。このペリア氏の画像は赤色で撮られているため、ヘラスにダ
ストのベールが発生しているとこのように写る可能性がある。ペリ
ア氏によれば気流が悪かったと言うが、気になる現象だ。2001年は
この部分にダストのベールが覆い、大黄雲が発生したからだ。3月
22日や3月25日にはヘラスは明るく観測されている。約半月の間に
変化が起こったのだろうか。

The Syrtis major (290W,+10) is conspicuous well. It is became
the top of the Syrtis major can be seen very thick. Mr.Pellier,
too, seems to say about The Sinus Sabaeus (340W,-45) and
Hellespontus (300W,-50) well. However, it is Hellas (300W,-50)
that is important. The appearance of the Hellas isn't cleared.
In this position, The Hellas must be able to be seen in circularly.
This image is thaken in the red light. Like 2001, the veil of the
sign phenomenon of the great dust storm. Hellas was circularly
observed on March 22nd and on March 25th. It may be the one
which between had a change to the halfmanth.

Dear all, here is my first Mars image of the current apparition. It has been
taken under very poor conditions as the planet is still low above the
horizon, nonetheless it counts for an "observational report". A drastic
selection of 170 frames among 1400+ (3 mn avi file) and a red filter have
permitted to reveal a dark Syrtis Major, Sinus Sabeus, and even
Hellespontus. The SPR displays too white patches, but this is likely to be
an artifact.
Some of you may be willing not to receive images from me that are not
Jupiter ones, if so please tell me !
