日本からはソリス(Solis Lacus;90W,-25)が中央に見える地域の
観測となっています。気流が今ひとつよくないので、断定できま
せんが、ソリスの大きさが今までよりも大きくなっている可能性
があります。クサンテ(Xanthe;55W,+25)がしろくなっていますが、
これは低緯度地方に出る氷晶雲ではないかと思われます。これか
ら目立って見えるようになってくることでしょう。暗色模様では
今回は、ニロケラス(Nilokeras;50W,+30)が暗い斑点として記録さ
れました。新川氏の画像ではクリセ(Chryse;30W,+10)に白雲の出
ている様子が記録されました。フランスからはペリエ氏（Chistophe
Pellier）からキンメリウム(MareCimmerium;210W,-25)が中心にな
る位置の観測が送られてきました。4月14日のパーカー氏の観測の
時に注目されたヘラス(Hellas;300W,-50)付近のダストベールはや
はりペリエ氏の観測でも確認されています。ペリエ氏は白い雲と
記録されていますが、15h13mの赤画像で明るくなっており、白い
雲ではないと思われます。パ−カ−氏の画像には重要な情報が含
まれていました。ヘラス(Hellas;300W,-50)の西の端がきれいに見
えています。しかし、その他の部分についてはベールに覆われて
よく分かりません。

It is the observation of the area where the Solis lacus
(90W,-25)can be seen at the C.M. from Japan. The seeing is
bad and the state cannot be concluded. However, the Solis
lacus may become big. The Xanthe can be seen, being white.
This is because  are  covered with cloud. From now, this
condition seems to be conspicuous. As for the　dark pattern,
the Nilokeras(50W,+30) as was darkly observed.  In
Mr.Niikawa's image, there is a white cloud on the Chryse
(30W,+10) region. Observation of the Mare Cimmerium was sent
from Mr.Pellier in France. The veil of the Hellas which was
taken by April 15th, Mr.D.Parker was recorded today, too. Mr.
Pellier seems not to be white cloud, recording with white
cloud but being bright in the image at 15h13m. Mr.D.Parker's
image is important. The Western edge of the Hellas(300W,-50)
is clearly seen. But, other edge was covered by the dust veil.
There is a dust band in the center of the Hellespontus(330W,-45).

画面の中で火星がポワポワ揺れている。
目視での選別とＲｅｇｉｓｔａｘの自動選別と
あまり差が無いのは画像が良くないからでしょうか。

私としては今季初の火星です。低空のためモニター上は
かなり揺らいで見えるのですが、出来上がった画像は眼
視に近いものでした。（結構眼視で見えます。）

Hello everyone,
Here are a few images taken this morning, again under very poor seeing,
nonetheless they reveal unexpected features as these bright areas visible on
every image, with a dark patch at the center. This looks like dust (bright
in red) but this is quite puzzling in this martian season, and I'm not sure
of what I see. The bright areas are yet visible on the raw frames so they
mustn't be processing artefacts.
I was thinking about Syrtis Major encircled by simple white clouds but it's
a bit early to see it so "far" from the limb and how can white clouds be
visible in red ?
I tried also to get a blue image following Masatsugu's advice, but as
expected, it has been impossible to use the W38A filter (too dark) ; so I
tried a light blue one with two W80A filters stacked together. It's better
than nothing but not good from a wavelenght point of vue.
Any comments would be most welcomed about this set...

Seeing fairly good (6-7, Pickering). Transparency 5m.
No wind. Heavy dew. Altitude = 39-41 degrees.
SPH conspicuous, bright in blue.  NPC tiny.

2+/3 Violet Clearing again noted. SPH still very bright in green and blue. Possible "Lifesaver Effect."
Hellas dull, normal aspect for season. Thin AM limb arc. PM cloud in Libya.
Yaonis Fr. and Hellespontus, and Depressiones Hellesponticus very dark. Serpentis inconspicuous.
N. tip of Syrtis Major blunted due to  Nili Pons and Astusapis S. Astaborae Fons, Coloe P. visible.
