日本からはキンメリウム(Mare Cimmerium;230W,-20)付近の観測
が中心となった。しかし、いずれも気流の悪い時のもので、解析は
非常に困難だ。ただ、西の端に明るい霧が出ていることが読み取れ
る。フランスのペリエ氏からはサバエウス(Sinus Sabaeus;340W,8)
付近の画像が報告されてきた。アラビア(Arabia;320W,+30)の北側
に明るい雲の出ていることが分かる。また、昨年話題になったエド
ム(Edom;350W,0)の明るくなった様子が記録された。ドン・パーカ
ー氏の画像は、火星の最接近の時のようなすばらしい画像だ。ソリ
ス(Solis lacus;90W,-25)の形が鮮明に記録されている。CM=66の画
像にはダエダリアにできた新しい２つの斑点も鮮明に記録されてい
る。ソリスのすぐ西にある、右上がりにできた濃く細長い斑点は今
までクラリタス（Claritas;105W,-30)のすぐ西に位置いているとこ
ろにあった淡い斑点でこれが今までになく暗くなって見えるように
なったものである。ダエダリア(Daedaria;120W,-30)に1975年に出
現した斑点はこの二つの暗斑が共に一つになって出現したものと考
えられる。あるいは、1975年に出現した模様の中央に明るい部分が
乗ってできた模様かも知れない。氷晶雲は非常に鮮明に記録され
ており、クリセ(Chryse;35W,+10)、クサンテ(Xanthe;50W,+10)、タ
ルシス(Tharsis;90W,+10)を広く覆っている様子が分かる。

  It became observation near Mare Cimmerium(230W,-20) from
Japan. It is the observation when either of the seeing are
bad. It finds that morning fog came out at the west edge.
Observation near Sinus Sabaeus was sent from Mr.Pellier in
France. It finds that cloud comes out in the northern
Arabia(320W,+30). Edom(350W,0) to have become the topic of
conversation last year can be brightly seen. The image of
Mr. D.Parker is very wonderful. Solis lacus90W,-25) was
clearly recorded. Tow spots to have formed in the Daedaria
region(120W,-30) distinct are recorded. The pattern next to
the west Solis lacus is the fleck which was at the end in
the west can have been seen in 1975. Or, the one which is
the same as the pattern which was made in 1975 was made.
Then the light part may have been made at the center. The
water ice cloud covers Chryse(35W,+10), Xanthe(50W,+10) and
Tharsis(90W,+10).

Hi all,
Seeing on Mars this morning was quite correct for the 17° altitude, but
coming clouds didn't allowed me to wait for the planet to get higher in the sky.
The western border of Syrtis Major, Sinus Sabeus and Sinus Meridiani are
easily seen. I find that the area of Argyre is still light, as seen on the
first Mars images of Paolo Lazarotti and Cristian Fattinnanzi over the last week.

Seeing good (8, Pickering), however high winds 8-15 kts. Transparency 5m+.
No dew. Altitude = 37-44 degrees.
Solis Lacus "L"-shaped, thin with western part lighter, oriented NE-SW.
Bathys conspicuous. Nectaris SInus
a dark dot. Agathodaemon, Melas L., dark. Coprates, Tithonius L., Hebes L.
detected. Phasis still conspicuous. Nilokeras, Lunae L., Juventae F. visible.
Margaritifer, Oxia Palus dark on PM limb.
Thin clouds over Chryse, Candor, and N. Tharsis. AM limb haze.

Hi All,
Here are some Mars images from 10 May. Looks pretty normal for season.
Note shape of Solis Lacus, the western portion of which is considerably
lighter.
