前日の５月３１日と同じようにエドム(Edom;350W,0)が明るく観測
されています。この明るさで一般的な見え方だと思う。5月３１日に
観測されたデューカリオン（Deucalion;-20,350)の明るい部分は今日
の観測では良く分からない。デューカリオンの南縁がぼやけてはいる
が、黄雲ではないだろう。イタリアのクリスティアン・ファッティナ
ンジ氏（Cristian Fattinnanzi)の画像ではタルシス(Tharsis;90W,+10
)付近の雲を非常に良く表しています。きょうは、北極地方から西のリ
ムまで明かるく目だつようになっています。パ−カ−氏(Don.Parker）
氏の観測は非常に優秀だ。細部の様子が実に良く表現されている。ケ
ルベルス(Cerberus;210W,+15)がややはっきりしている様子が見られ
る。極冠に一部分明るいところが見られるが理由は良く分からない。

Edom(350W,0) was brightly observed like May 31th. It thinks
that it is ordinary light at this light. Deucarion(-20,350W)
which was brightly observed on May 31th isn't bright today.
Therefore, it seems that it is not dust storm. Cristian
Fattinnanzi is recording the cloud of Tharsis90W,+10) well.
Today, limb in the west is conspicuous brightly from the North
Pole. The image of Don Parker is very excellent. A small part
is very well expressed. Cerberus(210W,+15) can be seen thick.
A partially light part is seen by SPC but it doesn't find a
reason for becoming light well.

seeing、透明度ともに良くアリンの爪が分解できました。
メーリングにあった極冠の変化はこれではよく分かりません。
３色分解すればわかりますが、ともかくまずカラー画像を送ります。

安達さんから６月２日のRGB画像を見て
「  ブルーの画像でもSPCの中央にくらい部分が写り、
やはり地肌が見えてきた様ですね。こんなことは初めてです。」
とのメールをいただきましたが６月１日のB画像は２日のものとは
かなり違うようです。１日、２日の他の画像も処理してみるまで
何とも言えませんが、ともかく続いて処理して見ます。

Dear friends
The sky condition is similar as last night.
I tried using F42 by increasing teh back focus of CCD sensor to the barlow lens.
I found there is a yellowish streak near the region of Aurorae Sinus ... I am not
sure whether it is the same dust streak as the one taken by Maurice and me respectively on 29 June.
It is visible on both the red and green.
The limb haze and NPC hood is beatifully shown on B frame.
I have compared the recent images and it do shows the changes of the limb brighening and the polar hood.

Images bias,flat and dark corrected.

Seeing poor (3-5, Pickering). W. wind 0-2 kts. Transparency 4m with high haze/fog.
No dew. Altitude = 41-44 degrees.

Bright thin AM limb arc; HP hood. Two faint clouds on terminator (PM limb).
Elysium clear of clouds.
Trivium-Cerberus small but well-defined. Hyblaeus Extension and Diacria very dark.
No Violet Clearing.
