南極冠の暗化　　　　　　安達　誠　                     2003/06/17

　今年のSPCの内部の変化は５月２日に見つかった。最初のイメージは暗い
影のように見えた。最初の観測はD.ParkerのCCDカメラによる画像だった。
　肉眼での最初の記録は５月２８日で、安達が記録した（Ls=193）。記録
は、やはり暗い影のような見え方だった。

　南極冠は今まで200度になると、内部に暗い影のような模様が出現すると
言われている。また、過去の観測では210度になると、非常にはっきりした
模様の記録が見られている。しかし、今年は173度と、一見
いつもより早く出現したように見える。
　しかし、肉眼ではls＝193となり、ふだんよりもやや早め程度の進行だっ
た様に見え、特別な現象ではないように思える。

　1971年8月10日の堀口令一氏の記録によれば、南極冠の暗い部分はオレン
ジ色に見えている。（惑星ガイドブックの表紙の絵）このときのLSは232だ
った。２００３年の記録を見ると、このときの記録と同じように南極冠の
暗部がオレンジ色になっているものがたくさんある。これは、同じ現象だと
思われる。
　これからは、おそらくはっきりした黒い亀裂が見えてくることになるだろ
う。

　　The dark making of SPC　　　　　　　Makoto Adachi       2003/06/17


  A change inside SPC this year was found out on May 2nd. The first
image seemed to be a dark shadow. The first observation was CCD
camera by D.C.Parker (Ls=173).
  Adachi recorded the first record with the naked eye on May 28th.
(Ls=193). It was a first observation in this saeson by naked eyes.
The record is a way of that it is possible to see like the still
dark shadow.
  When SPC becomes 200 degrees so far, a pattern like the dark
shadow is sprung inside. Also, when becoming 210 degrees in the
observation in the past, a very cleared record is seen.
  However, this year, it seems that it is earlier than in usual
sprung with 190 degrees. I think that it is not a spcial phenomenon.
  According to the record of Reiichi Horoguchi on August 10th, 1971,
the dark part can be seen in the orange. LS in this case was 200.
There are a lot of ones which are made orange like the record in
this case as far as it sees by the record in 2003. From now,
the cleared black streak will be able to be seen.
