(Cristian Fattinnanzi)
(reported by 5 observers)

June 28th, 2003
In Japan, Solis lacus(90W,-25) could have been seen at the center.
The diameter became very big beyond 16". In the images, the morning
mist is conspicuous and can be seen. White cloud seems to be
Tharsis region(100W,+10). Cristian Fattinnanzi(Italy) is
recording the bright appearance of Eridania(215W,-45). The
central neighborhood (SPC) becomes dark excellently. Ed. Grafton
observed the neighborhood of Srpentis(325W,-25). Hellas(295W,-50)
is as still dark.

Saluti!!

Hi Mars Observers
Here is an image from June 28th 2003 at 09:25 UT taken from Houston, Texas.
The sky transparency was fair, 5/10 with cirrus clouds and the seeing was
good, 7/10. The temperature was in the upper 70s F with moderate dew present
and calm winds.

Hello observers, these images are my first try with the B&W modified ToUcam
made for me by Paolo Lazzarotti. Even if the seeing was poorer than on my
previous observing mornings, I find the results very conclusive, as this
chip gather much more light than the original color one and possibly has a
better definition (?). I have even been able to make a selection of the raws
obtained with the blue filter !
This webcam also solves for me the problem of the spectral response of the
color ToUcam...
