これは今シーズン常に見えている斑点です。香港のエリック(Eric Ng)からは

July 9th, 2003
The observation near Mare Cimmerium (220W,-20) centered from U.S.A.
Cloud can not be seen even if it becomes Elysium (215W,+20) in the
afternoon. Phlegra (190W,+35) which is in the east of Elysiunm can
be seen thick. It seems the dark spot where there was Trivium
Charontis (200W,+20) clearly. 190 W, -40 and the spot which is in
the east at once can be always seen. The observation of Deucarion
Regio (340W,-15) which was made dark was sent from Eric. The spot
which is in the west of Deltoton (310W,0) can be well seen.
A malfunction isn't seen by Solis lacus (90W,-25)

Hello to all; poor seeing continues, but some interesting morphology
nonetheless, CM = ~200 deg.

Mars was imaged again July 9th btween 9:54 UT- 10:05 UT.
The seeing was just above average. Still
some scattered clouds around with high humitidy.
Mare Cimmerium and Mare Tyrrherum dominate the disk and Hesperia is seen clearly between the two features.
In the north, Elysium is surrounded by two dark features Trivium/Cerberus and Hyblaeus.
As far as the dust clouds concern, it is still bright along the eastern limb where Hellas is located.
Not much difference from the day before.
Perhaps some dust clouds in Eridania and Ausonia just south of Mare Cimmerium on the meridian?

Hi Mars Observers
Here is an image from July 9th at 09:07 UT. The sky was partly cloudy with
an approaching thunderstorm. Seeing and transparancy were good 8/10.

Dear friends
Attached was mars taken on 0709 at 17:51UT.
Seeing was bad with thin haze.
My friend Szeto Kuen Chuen was imaging with me and saw a thunder cloud was moving
towards us, very exciting!!!

There are some yellowish "haze" over Yaonis Fretum and Mare Serpentis.
