畑中氏から濃化したデューカリオン(Deucalion regio;350W,-15)の観測記
録が送られてきた。前日にはグラフトン(Ed Grafton)のとらえたピティサ
ル(Pitysal;320W,-58)付近の砂嵐は分解できていない。大きくはならなかっ
たようだ。ヘレスポントス（Hellespontus;330W,-50)の中央付近を横切ってい
た黄雲は相変わらず同じ様子をしている。フランスのニコラス・ビーベ氏
(Nicolas Biver)からはスケッチが送られてきた。南極冠の中の様子がよくと
らえられている。(reported by 10 observers)

The dark Deucarion(350W,-15) image was sent from Hatanaka (Japan).
The Duststorm of Pitysal(320W,-58) which Ed Grafton saw on July
9th can not be seen. Dust storm seems not to have become big. Ddust
storm which crossed at the center of Hellespontus(330W,-50) isn't
changing. The image inside SPC to find well was sent from Nicolas
Biver(France).

はじめは、晴れていたようだが、雲がかかり
seeingも悪化、輝度も落ちたため、撮影を続行
できなかった。
ヘラスの西に、黄雲が残っているようだ。
ヘレスポントスは、ずいぶん濃くなってきた。

７月８日に畑中氏も書いておられますが、７月７日に比べて黄雲の勢いが弱くなっているようです。
眼視では７月７日のヘラスはかなりダスティでしたが、それも収まってきているような気がします。
ヘラスからノアキスに向かってヘレスポンティスを通してブリッジのように黄雲が結んでいます。
これ以上黄雲が発達しないことを祈りたい気持ちです。
この日は、遠雷のせいか空中放電が見られ、撮像当初は気流が極めて悪く、像は細かなさざ波状に
乱れていましたが、その後改善していきました。

Hi all, this morning I made another attempt to image Mars with a C14 but it
seems that the planet is really too low in my sky for that big diameter. I
will keep imaging with the small newtonian !

Hi Mars Observers
Here is an image from July 10th at 09:00 UT. The sky was partly to mostly
cloudy with high and mid level clouds. Transparancy was fair 4/10 and seeing
was good 8/10.

Dear all
Seeing has been relatively good yesterday and this morning in Paris
region. Please find attached here drawings I made with a 25.6-cm Newtonian
yesterday (July 10) at 2:20 and 3:30 UT.
Nothing special to note, low contrast to the West of Solis lacus, and
northern hemisphere ill defined. Rimae in th SPC quite clear...
