解説（安達）

日本からはソリス（Solis lacus;90W,-25)付近の観測となりました。特に目
立った変化はありませんが、池村氏の画像では青画像にアルシアモンス（Arsia
Silva;125W,-5)が白い雲を頂いている様子が鮮明にとらえられました。シルチ
ス(Syrtis major;290W,+10)からキンメリウム(Mare Cimmerium;220W,-20)付近
までも大きな変化は見られませんでした。
今回の最大の変化はクリセ(Chrise;35W,+10)に見られる黄雲です。前日の７
月２９日クサンテ北部の（Xanthe;45W,+28)に発生した黄雲が大きく発展しまし
た。地上からの砂の補給を受けながら明るく成長し、南に移動してい姿がとら
えられました。(reported by 10 observers)

It became observation near Solis lacus (90W,-25) from Japan.
Specifically, a conspicuous change isn't seen. As for Ikemura, white
cloud recorded a coming state clear to Arsia Mons (125W,-5) by the
blue image. The change which is big from Syrtis major (290W,+10)
to Mare Cimmerium (220W,-20) isn't seen. The biggest change this
time is dust storm to seem Chryse (35W,+10). The one to have formed
in the north of Xanthe  (45W,+28) from July 29th of the previous day
developed. It grew brightly while receiving the replenishment of sand
from the ground. Then, this dust storm moved to the south.

 最近のお決まりのパターンで雲が夜半過ぎまで厚く有りました。
雲がきれてからは透明度は最高でしたが、シーイングは最低でした。
毎回シーイングについて書くのも自分自身嫌になります。

なかなかスカッと晴れません。
低空で薄雲を通しての撮影でしたが、強めの処理の結果
なんとか模様がでました。当面の目標は、撮影及び画像
処理のプロセスの確立です。

ソリスのところが、井戸から出てくる  かえる  というイメージで面白いですね。タルシス３山の一番南の山
Arsia　にのみ、白雲がかかっています。
青画像の1番目2番目3番目は、透明度が悪く、青画像の写りが悪かったので撮像カメラの画像取り込み時の最適化
処理の弊害で、このようになります。また、特に青画像の右側縁が輝いてしまうのも、その精です。それ以後
の画像合成処理は私の自作の処理で、RGB各プレーンの処理は独立しており、他のプレーンには影響されません。
画像取り込み時にすでにこのようになっているのでは、防ぎようがありません。そのため、単色の白黒CCDの
画像は貴重なものとなります。

Hi Mars Observers
Here is an image from July 30th 2003. Looks like the melting of the SPC has
spawned clouds in Chryse that were not there only yesterday. Had to switch
to my Edmund filters after rapid deterioration of the SBIG filter set that I
had been using.
The sky was partly cloudy, transparancy was very good 8/10 and seeing was
fair to good  5-6/10.
