クレイ・シェロッド氏（P.Clay Sherrod)は、シルチス(Syrtis major;295W
+10)を撮影した。朝、西側から顔を出したシルチスは西側のエッジの方が濃く
なる様子がとらえられた。ドメニコ・リッチェリ氏(Domenico Licchelli)氏の
画像では、南極冠の様子がよくとらえられた。ニクス・オリンピカ(NIx
Olympica;130W,+20)は白く写っているが、雲ではない。

P. Clay Sherrod the photograph took Syrtis major (295W,+10). In the
morning, as for Syrtis major which came out from the western side
that the end in the west became thick was recorded. In the image of
Domenico Licchelli, it understands a state in SPC well. It is
deteriorated, being white but Nix Olympica is not coverd by white
cloud.

Mars in fairly steady skies; note the inset of the SPC showing a ring of
melting/sublimation.  Some yellow cloud activity noted as well as continued
blue-white clouds on western limb near the SPC.
