クリストフ・ペリエ(Christophe Pellier)氏の画像からは、タルシ
ス(Tharsis;100W,+10)にある山岳の上にかかる雲は非常に淡くなっている様子
が青画像から確認できる。ギアンニ・ツミーノ(Gianni Tumino)氏は、南極冠
の近くに淡い霧のような雲の出ている様子を記録した。パオロ・バルド−ニ
(Paolo Baldoni)氏の画像では北極地方の雲が鮮明に記録された。

August 11th, 2003
In the blue image of Christophe Pellier, cloud on the mountain of
Tharsis (100W,+10) was observed, being light. Gianni Tumino observed
cloud like fog near SPC. In the image of Paolo Baldoni, cloud at the
arctic region was clearly recorded.

寝過ごしました。仮眠から。
薄雲越しの撮影で、わずかな時間
撮影可能な薄雲が通過する時に
撮影できました。
撮影条件が悪いので詳細は不明です。

満月が雲の間からかすかに見えていたので、望遠鏡セット
して待つこと４０分、時々火星が見えるようになり撮影を開
始。通過する雲のため数秒でゲインが大幅に変化し,まとも
な画像が得られませんでしたが、３カット目に１５秒程まと
まったＡＶＩファイルが撮影できました。

そして、仙台には夏がありません。
春、梅雨、秋、冬となるでしょうか。
さて、オーストラリアで撮影した
火星を送ります。
こんな天気になって思い出すのは、
オーストラリアの素晴らしい透明度の空です。
満月下でも天の川が写るのです。
そんな空ですから、撮像した火星の色彩
も素晴らしいものでした。

Here is an image from August 11th 2003 at 07:38 UT. The sky transparancy was
poor to fair good 3-4/10 and the seeing was good 7/10.

Hello everyone : last night my sky was still hazy but the seeing was quite
good. The fair transparency has ruined a bit the first G and B images !
There are still white clouds other the afternoon Tharsis. In the SPC the
Thyles Mons are prominent. Exactly like in Antoniadi's map of the springtime SPC
