解説（安達）
キンメリウム(Mare Cimmerium;220W,-20)を中心とした画像では南極冠が細
く見えるようになった。伊賀氏が指摘しているように、ケンタウリ（Centauri
lacus;260W,-45)は６月にはほとんど見えなかったもので、これは７月の黄雲
によって見えるようになってきたものと思われる。リカルド・ヌネス（Ricardo
Nunes)氏の画像は前日に続いてアキダリウム(Mare Acidarium;30W,+50)の白雲
を非常に良くとらえている。タン・ウェイ・レオング(Tan Wei Leong)氏は南
極冠の様子が良く判る画像を得た。南極冠は西経３０度を中心に観測すると、
上下二つに分裂して写ることが分かった。

In the image centered on Mare Cimmerium (220W,-20), SPC became able
to be seen, being attenuate. As Iga(Japan) said, Centauri lacus (260W
-45) could have been hardly seen in June. This seems changed as it can
be seen in dust storm in July 2003. In the image of Ricard Nunes
it catches the white cloud of Mare Acidarium (30W,+50) well. Tan Wei
leong got the image to understand the inside of SPC well. It splits
into two up and down and it is possible to be seen when SPC attempts
to center on 30 W.

透明度は悪いものの、シーイングは、今期これまでで最良でした。

薄曇りの中、何とか撮影できた。昨日同様、０時を過ぎると厚い雲に覆われ観測で
きなくなった。極冠の左側に輝度の強い部分を認める。キンメリアの”よだれ”も何
とか確認できる。昨日よりやや画像の揺らぎが大きい様に思われた。
いったん曇りましたがまた晴れましたので撮影を続行しました。ｓｅｅｉｎｇはや
や良好となりました。

今夜も雲が多く撮影をあきらめていたら深夜になって晴れてきた。
透明度は良くないがシーイングはまずまずで、眼視でもじっくり
と眺める事ができた。南極冠の左下の明るい部分が気になった。
Resistaxで処理をすると模様が細部まで浮き出てきた。

コメント：
・昼間の晴天が嘘のようにずっと曇天で、ようやく晴れたショットである。
・昨日よりはシーイングは良いが、まだ大きく像が揺れている。
・南極冠は輝度オーバーで、内部の様子は分からない。
・ヘラス南部はやはり薄暗い。
・ヘラスの東のCM付近のアウソニア?アドリア海の斑点は6月には
見られないもので、7月頃から濃くなってきている。7月1日に発生した
ヘラスの黄雲の影響だろうか。
・キンメリアから垂れ下がる2本の"しずく"をはっきりとらえるほどの
シーイングではなかった。
・左下にエリシウムがやや明るく見えている。

この日は高石市の火星観望会にボランティアで参加。雲のない絶好の観望会であった。
帰宅後、いつもは雲間をついての撮像なので簡易なToUcamになってしまうがST-5cでも撮像した。
（画像処理は遅れますが）
ToUcam Pro ではR62とB,Vフィルターを使ってみた。
B,Vは手元にあったビクセンとミードのもので素性はよくわからない。
赤外もれを防ぐためIRを付けたがほとんど何も写らない。Vは全く写らなかった。
極冠は最近急速に縮小していっているような気がする。

Solis Lacus is just incredible and Olympus Mons is easily visible at 5 o'clock
position especially 5:04 UT image.

Mars in steady skies with considerable haze and high clouds; the large bright
cloud (left) is now becoming more diffuse and spreading westward and south.
Note the demarcation of the south polar cap as it is now rapidly sublimating and
melting; note incredible intensity (dark)of Mare Sirenum in all wavelengths
particularly interesting in blue and green light.

Here my latest Mars image under good to excellent seeing and good transparency.
That's for sure my best Mars image for this Great Oposition: I don't believe to take a better image in the future with my actual equipment!
Unfortunately the G filter crashed so I was not able to take the usual RGB color image. Hope to fix this boring problem as soon.
Notice the very conspicuos prominence stretching from the SPC captured in the first 3 images! Is there some particular feature?

The sky transparancy was variable with clouds blowing through 0-7/10, and
the seeing was fair to good 6/10.

Images from August 20th are attached. One RGB frame, one IR and a composite IR+RGB.
Imaged through my 30cm SCT @ f28, TouCam Pro (320x240 mode), IR through Schuler IR83 filter and the RGB
through Schuler IRX. Best 50 frames of 30 second video clip (15fps, 1/25 sec exp.). Aligned and stacked with
RegiStax and processed with MaximCCD.
Seeing was average 6/10, but transparency was poor due to thin cirrus cloud.
