解説（安達）
　北極地方の雲はアキダリウム(Mare Acidarium;30W,+50)付近でかなり濃くな
っている様子がとらえられている。 この雲は、単なる北極地方を覆う雲では
なく、雲の集まり方から見て、サイクロン的なものではないかと思われる。グ
ラフトン氏(E.D.Grafton)の画像からはミッチェル山の場所が３つに分裂して
いるのが記録されている。非常に鮮明な画像だ。良く見るとボレオシルチス
(Boreo Syrtis;290W,+45)が確認できる。サバエウス(Sinus Sabaeus;340W,-5)
が北の端が非常濃くなっている様子が良く分かる。カルメロ・ザネッリ氏
(Carmelo Zannelli)と、エリック氏(Eric Ng)の画像では、火星の色がピンク
がかっているのが気になる。

  Cloud at the arctic region becomes thick near Mare Acidarium (30W,
+50).  It thinks whether or not this cloud is not specifically brightly
like the storm.  In the image of E.D.Grafton, that Noves Mons separated
into three was recorded.  As for Sinus Sbaeus (340W,-5), the end of
the northern side becomes dark.  Whole Mars becomes pink from the
image of Carmelo Zannelli and Erich Ng.  There is a report to say that
the color of Mars becomes pink from the observer of the naked eye
about and it is the observation which becomes a feeling.

コメント：南極冠の一部が剥がれて見えるが、ミッチェル山です。
真珠の海やオーロラ湾、アキダリアの海が見えている。
この後、急に雲って観測不能になりました。
台風の影響で、今週末は火星観測不能かも？

シーイングが割と良かったので、6時間粘ってみました。
11:26(UT)の画像ではミッチェル山が見えています。

地域予報ではしっかり曇りだったのですが、雲が多いものの晴れてシ
ーイングの良い状態になりました。お月見にぴったりでした。
シーイングが良いおかげで火星の鼻のように見えるmare erythraeum
の下のお髭がモニター上でもはっきり見えました。（目は太陽湖とサバ
人湾です。mare acidaliumが口ですね。）
今回は、フレームのピクセルを半分にして、レジスタックで処理するとき
にリサンプリングで2倍にしてみましたが、実用上まったく問題ありませ
んでした。

台風が、沖縄にあるのでシーングが悪いかと思いきや
意外と良く、普段より画像のゆれがゆったりとゆれて
見やすかった。眼視では確認できなかったが南極冠から
離れたミッチェル山？の存在がわかる。北極地方の雲が
収束してきたように感じる。

アルギュレ平原に円形の模様が写っています。これはアルギュレ平原の大きなクレータのようです。

アルギュレ平原の丸い模様は、アンモナイトの化石のように見えます。
南半球全体に薄い白雲が発生しているようです。アキダリアの北部に濃い極雲が発生しているようです。
2001年6月26日でしたか、HSTが撮影した画像の北極雲とよく似ています。
こんなに楽々とミッチェル山を捉えていますが、2001年の時は、世界中誰も捉えられませんでした。
2005年も捕えることは困難でしょう。  2005/07/28 午前4時頃で視直径11"という条件になります。

Dear all -
Mars was imaged September 11th between 3:53 UT and 5:01 UT. The seeing varied from average to above average. But
some images came out OK but not great.

It is hard to pin point exactly what's going on in Hellas. It looks normal and then other times it looks like some
dust is stirring in that area. Most observers reported are mixed. During the last two nights, the seeing condition did
not allowed any of the finer details to be seen. So far, it is bright enoungh in red light to take notice.

Hi Mars Observers
Here is an image from September 11th 2003 at 05:40 UT. The sky transparancy
was fair 5/10 and the seeing was fair to good 6/10. The Mountains of
Mitchell can be seen to be breaking up into three components. No changes in
the Hellas basin were seen in comparison from September 9th.
