 日本からの観測は記録されなかった。クレイ・シェロッド氏(P.Clay
Sherrod)の観測では、アルシア・シルバ(Arsia Silva;125W,-5)の白雲がはっ
きりと記録されている。クリスティアン・ファッティナンジ(Cristian
Fattinnanzi)は、南極冠の詳しい観測を報告した。3つの部分に割れているこ
とが確認された。この様子は青画像でもはっきりと確認できる。

  There was not a record from Japan.  The cloud of Arsia Silva
(125W,-5) falls to the image of P.Clay Sherrod clearly.  Cristian
Fattinanzi recorded the detailed state of SPC.  SPC is dead
separately in three parts.  This state can be seen in the blue
image.

Mars showing an intense and very blue (see inset Blue image) cloud over the Tharsis region, perhaps associated with the Araxes/Phoenicis Lacus area(s); this seen in both RGB and blue images on the left edge of the planet. Note also the bright whitish south polar haze that was recorded on 9-19-03 that stretches far northward from the small SPC.
