解説（安達）
　日本は冬になり、気流が悪くなった。ヘラス(Hellas;290W,-50)は白っぽく
観測された。明け方は朝霧が著しいが、特にヘラスは白く見える。北極地方は
明るい白雲に覆われている。風本氏の画像からは、南極冠の周囲が暗い模様に
囲まれている様子が記録されている。また、アエテリア(Aetheria;240W,+40)
の暗斑も確認できる。さらに、エリシウム(Elysium;220W,+25)は雲に覆われて
いない様子も記録された。草階氏の画像では、アエテリアの暗斑の様子が鮮明
に記録されている。池村氏の画像はこの時期としては非常に鮮明な画像だ。青
画像では、火星全体を追う雲の様子がよく記録されている。ヘラスは中央付近
にきている時は、今シーズンの標準的な姿を見せている。

November 1st, 2003.
Japan became winter, and an air current got bad. Hellas (290W,-50) was
observed white.
A mist is conspicuous at dawn in the morning, and it seems that Hellas
is light. The Arctic region is covered with white cloud. It seems with
the image of Kazemoto that the neighborhood of SPC is dark. And, the
point of Aetheria (240W,+40） is reflected clearly.
Furthermore, the state that there was no cloud in Elysium (220W,+25)
was recorded. Dark spots of Aetheria can be seen with the image of
Kusakai well.
The image of Ikemura is excellent. A blue image often records the cloud
of the Mars whole surface. When it comes in the center, Zea can be seen
with Hellas (290W,-50) well.

今夜もシーイングが悪く細部は
分かりませんでした。

シーイング不良でしたが、ToUcamでの７５秒撮影を十数回繰り返す中で、
３５秒ほど使えるフレームが得られました。

秋特有の断片的な雲が次々と発生し、何度も
ストップをかけながらようやく撮影できた。
視直径は15"を切った。
南極冠は小さいがはっきりとしている。
その周囲はかなり赤みを帯びているようだ。
北極付近は雲が発生しているのか白く光っている。

Some images from early november. On the first day of the month seeing was
still fair-poor, but on nov. 3rd warm southern winds finally brought some
good seeing to my location - it did not last for very long.
Hellas is quite yellow seen near the limb.
