解説（安達）
  奥田氏の画像では、シレーン(Mare Sirenum;160W,-30)が見えている位置のた
め、低緯度地方の朝霧は弱く写っている。一方、オークス(Orcus;180W,+15)付
近に氷晶雲が写っており、この部分が明るくなっている様子が記録されている。
エリシウム(Elysium;215W,+25)は、今日も雲のない晴れた姿を見せている。北
極の白雲は目立たない。ダミアン・ピ−チ氏の画像ではヘラス(Hellas;290W
-50)が正面にきていますが、極めてノーマルな姿を記録しています。

October 7th, 2003.
A mist is weak in the morning because Mare Sirenum (160W,-30) can be
seen with the image of Okuda. The neighborhood of Orcus (180W,;15) is
light, and these surroundings are covered with water ice cloud.
Elysium (215W,;25) has the figure which a cloud is not in and which
cleared up. An Arctic cloud isn't conspicuous. Hellas can be seen
with the image of Damian Peach in the front. It seems that Hellas
is a normal figure in this position.

日中は曇りの一日で、諦めていましたが、
帰宅したら、晴れ始めたので撮影できました。
久しぶりに割と良いシーイングでした。
南半球に赤い暗い影が見えます。

昨夜気になったところは観測できませんでした。


気になったので何とか昨日と同じぐらいの位相の画像を撮りました。
観測室の屋根に火星が一部かかり始めていて、大変シーイングが
不良でした。昨日のように明るい部分はありませんでしたが、北極
地方に白雲を認めます。

昼間の良く晴れた天候から見ると、雲の多い残念な状態でした。

撮像しようとベランダに上がると雲が拡がり、仕方なく下の部屋で所用をしていると雲がきれはじめる
ということが繰り返しあり、撮像のタイミングがなかなか合わなかった。
結局撮像出来たのは、電線にかかってしまう、かなり遅い時刻になってしまった。
火星面の赤みが更に増してきているように感じられる。

エリタニア付近は１１月４日と
変わらないような気がする。
キムメリアからの雫がなんとか
判別できる。
朝霧が出ている。

Hi all,
Here are some Mars images from last night. Conditions were medicore, with blustery winds. Syrtis Major is close to the meridian, and the SPC is now very small. The B image shows some haze over Elysium.

11" (28 cm) Celestron SCT @ f/31.4.   Philips ToUcam Pro Webcam.
Total exposure times:     Red Light (No IR rejection): ~250 x 0.04 secs
Blue Light (+ IR rejection): ~900 x 0.04 secs
Seeing poor-fair (Pickering 3-5) at 28 degs.  Transparency excellent (5.5mag.)
Wind gusty E (10-20mph.) No dew.
Eq Diam=13.9"   Altitude= 28 degs.
