ソリス(solis lacus;90W,-25)南方のダストはさらに衰退しました。ただ、
アルギレ(Argyre;35W,-50)付近では非常に明るい姿を見せています。北極付近
はあまり明るくない様です。グラフトン(Ed Grafton)氏が発見した黄雲の光斑
はさらに南東に移動し、３つに分裂したように見えています。画層は、明るい
部分が良く分かるように処理してあります。同じ場所をDCパ−カー(D.C.Parker)
氏が撮影していますが、赤画像でダストの広がりを見事にキャッチしています。
カラー画像は、このイメージを使って合成してありますが、ダストは東西に大
きく拡がっています。(reported by 13 observers)

December 21st, 2003.
The cloud of the Solis lacus (90W,-25) south declined more. However, a
light figure is shown with Argyre (30W,-50). The neighborhood of the
north pole isn't light. The discovered point of Ed Grafton is moved
southeast more, and divided into three. This image is being fixed to
know a light part well. D.C.Parker takes pictures of the same place.
The extent of dust storm is understood in his red image.

私用で、東京に行っていたため昨日は火星を見ることができませんでした。
もっと早い時間に火星を見なければと思っているが、できない。
砂嵐は太陽湖の南側を超えシレーンまで達している。

たぶん、
蛙の顔に湯をかけたようになっていると思います。

撮影中に氷点下になり、目の前で露が凍っています。

150秒2300フレームから、rezistaxで眼視で、
210フレームを選びその後rezistaxで処理した。

撮影当初は極めて悪いシーイングであったが、そのうち良くなってきた。
南極冠は健在のようである。
タルシス３山に伸びる蛇のようなすじが写ってくれたが、このことからタルシス３山辺りには黄雲や雲はあまりないと思う。
しかし、たった口径２０�pしかない自作鏡で視直径９秒でも写るとは、アナログ世代の私にとってToUcamの威力には感激。
近々、口径アップを考えていてその際はこの２０�pも廃棄を考えていたが考え直した。

Hi everyone
It seems to be that the dust storm doesn't go globally, since the activity
has diminished a bit. One of the dust cores hovers SE of Solis Lacus and
leaves a trail that ends near Daedalia. Seeing was 4/10, this is still
considered good for this time of the year since it was 35 C that day! I'm
also lucky we have a few days of clear weather, during this time of the
year storms usually spoil the views around dusk.

Wind N 3-5 kts. Altitude = 62-48 degrees. No dew.

Dust appears limited to the Hellas region, with small clouds obscuring Hellespontus-Yaonis.
Streak still  covering Noachis. NP Hood very weak. Hint of Blue Syrtis Cloud on PM limb.
Seeing poor.
