解説（安達）
  瀧本氏の画像ではヘラス(Hellas:290W,-50)が明るく白く観測された。気流
がよくないせいか、南極冠は見えない。北極付近は白い雲に覆われている。

January 5th, 2004.
Hellas (290W,-50) was recorded with the image of Takimoto cheerfully.
Because seeing is bad, SPC can't be seen.

コメント：なんとか火星の模様が判る。しかし、小さくなったものだ。
今週中に直径は７秒台となるが、シーイングが良ければ
５秒台でも火星の模様が判るような気がする。
The pattern of Mars is known somehow.
However, it becomes small.
Although diameter becomes during this week with the level of 7 seconds
if seeing is good I feel that the pattern of Mars is known also on the level of 5 seconds.

雲がなかなかきれず、撮像が遅くなった。
この位置は電線もありあまり撮像したく
ない位置である。シーイングも良くない。
ほかの方も書いておられましたが、眼視
でもヘラスが明るいようです。

I'm not sure my last e-mail was received by everyone, so I send you my
latest Mars image again:
Hi everyone
Currently I'm busy with Saturn, so the frequency of my Mars observation
will go down a bit, especially with Mercury in a favourable position next
week.
Hellas looks bright as it was in the last few weeks. Seeing was 6/10.
