Jupiter under very unsteady skies; note the prominence of turbulence south of the STB
throughout this longitudinal expanse; also, a prominent reddish barge or segment within
the NTB is very pronounced, along with what appears to be an associated white or bright
spot north of that feature. Continued major turbulence through the latitudinal expanse of
the NEB.

Several of the STC ovals and features are persisent over the past 30 days and evaulations
of drift and rotational current are underway at this time; these will be posted along with
drift data on the GRS later today.

After days of trying to tame the C11, I was really about to give up on it and go back to the C8. I had been frustrated by the fuzzy images of this scope! After taking down the JMI focuser, I realized that the 1/25" adapter that came with the NGF-CM isn't perfectly flat but is tilted when I attached this to my Maxbright. I removed the 1.25" adapter of my AP130 and viola PROBLEM SOLVED!!
Seeing was 9/10 tonight with 5/5 transparency. The image of the right is a stack of 465 frames out of 500. I had to keep my exposure time low to prevent movement. I am still trying to figure out how to remove the vertical lines when you look at Jupiter at close range. These disappear though when you look at the image about 2 ft away. Would appreciate it if I can get advises on how to deal with this
Jupiter is filled with details! The Oval BA is very prominent at the STB with ovals around it. The red spots on the NEB are very resolved and so are countless of rifts! There is a long dark red feature on the NNTB.
