新しいIDASのメタンバンドフィルターを使ってみましたが特に問題は無いようで、ホッとしました。
GRSの前方に２個並んでいた白斑が１個になっています。どうなったのでしょうか？

STrZⅡ=140付近の暗班は５月３日に比べけっこう速く前進している。riftもいくつか見られる。

透明度が良く眼視でも大赤斑の淡いオレンジ色がわかりました。
また、大赤斑後方の白斑群も良く見えました。

コメント：GRSが中央面を通過した後、急激にシーイングが悪化した。
雲が東から西へ流れ、東風が吹いている。

Seeing was around 8/10 tonight but transparency was around 3/5 with haze and some scattered clouds. Here's another image of Jupiter with my C8.
The GRS was transiting this evening. Note the oval below the GRS!! Note also the dark round feature on the SEB to the right of the GRS!! What is this?
The NEB is filled with faint rifts. While the EB is busy with festoons!
Io is the satellite on the right.

Note the greatly distorted GRS! Note also the small oval squashed by the GRS!

The South Tropical Band has detached from the GRS. Also some lovely mid-NEB rifts.

Seeing good-excellent (Pickering 7-9.)
Transparency excellent (5.5mag) occ low clouds.
Wind gusty ENE (10-25mph.) No dew.

Only clear at the start, and then the thunderstorms arrived

Transparency poor with contast fast moving low clouds + two showers late!.
Wind very gusty ENE (15-30mph.) No dew.
