コメント：観測を始めたが、僅か３０分ほどで雲ってきたので
中止した。透明度も悪い状態でした。
ＮＥＢｓに暗斑が目立っていました。

ソフィア堺で木星観望会のお手伝いをした。シーイングもかなりよく、大赤班後方のSEB内の白斑群やNEBの詳細など見事であった。苗村鏡と熊森氏の調整の見事さによるもので初めてこのような木星を見、感激した。やはり大口径は凄いです。観望会後、撮像をさせて頂いたが、シーイングの悪化と初めての機材によるものなのか、見えている木星の1/10も表現できなく、見えているものと処理後のここまでのギャップは初めてです。

ソフィア・堺の天文教室「木星」を柚木さんにご協力いただきました。
終了後、ATK-2Cで撮影しましたが、二人の撮影オプション設定がずいぶんと違うことが
分かりました。
木星が西に傾きシーイングが悪くなったのが残念でした。

Seeing was about the same as yesterday at around 6/10 with 2/5 transparency. This is the area just after the GRS.
Note the SEB where the wake of the GRS meets the rest of the SEB. Note also the blue feature on the STrB at the CM. The light colored south pole is also prominent. The EB is very busy with lots of festoon activity. There is a bright spot on the NTB.
A special congratulations to Fr . Victor Badillo SJ, director of the Manila Observatory, for having Minor Planet 4866 designated in his honor. You have inspired countless of amateur astronomers here in the Philippines!! A special thanks to Edwin Aguirre and Imelda Joson making this possible!!
