解説（安達）
　中央の目立つ部分にシルチス(Syrtis major; 290W,-50)が来ています。シ
ーイングの状態が悪いため、細部はわかりませんが、１月１日に見られてい
る、イシディス(Isidis;270W,+25)付近は暗いままです。１２月２８日にアエリ
ア(Aeria;310W,+15)あたりが明るく見えていましたが、この画像からはふだん
通りの明るさに写っており、１２月２８日の明るい記録は朝霧らしことが判断
できます。南極や北極は相変わらず暗いままです。

  Syrtis major (290W,-50) is seen in the part at the center . Seeing
condition is bad, the detail is not understood. Isidis (270W,+25)
seen on January 1 is done with dark. This image in brightness the
same as usually though Aeria (310W,+15)  looked bright on December 28.
It seems that this bright pattern is morning fog. The South Pole and
the North Pole are dark as usual. (reported by 1 observer)
