解説（安達） 眼視観測だけの報告である。肉眼でも気流の良い時には南極冠の淡くなった 部分を確認できるようになった。視直径が小さいので、詳細を確認するまでに は至らないが、顕著な部分については見えると言うことだ。ヘラ ス(Hellas:290W,-50)からアウソニア(Ausonia;250W,-45)付近は、この日も前 日に続いて明るく観測された。(reported by 1 observer) It is a report only of the visual observation. It came to be able to confirm the part where the South Polor Cap had become light when the seeing was good with the unassisted eye. It sees it about a remarkable part though it doesn't come to confirm details because the apparent diameter is small. As for the vicinity of Ausonia (250W,-45), this day was brightly observed from Hellas (290W,-50) following the day before.
