低緯度地方に淡い白雲の出ている様子がかすかに見られる。（瀧本氏の画像）
南半球はコントラストが低い。(reported by 4 observrs)
It is thought that the appearance of which light white clouds have gone
out to the low latitude
provinces is faint. (Mr. Takimoto's image)。The contrast of the
southern hemisphere is low.

コメント：台風の影響で風が強いが、比較的良いシーイングとなった。

台風の接近で、どうやら２６日、２７日の観測はできそうにありません。
南極冠の縮小の様子に興味があるだけに、少し残念です。・・が、体を休めそうですので、ホッともしています。
・ミッチェル山の分離が進んでいます。
・それにともない、ミチェル山から南極冠を取り囲むように白い筋が伸びてきていますが、本日の画像では白
点のつながりとして確認できます。これは一体なんでしょうか？
ちなみに、白い筋の伸びは１５日頃の画像から見え始めています。

19:49 UT, CM = 343（２枚目）.
コメント：シーイングが悪かったですが、少しの晴れ間に恵まれ何とかNovus Monsを
撮れました。もう少し倍率をあげてみたかったのですが、撮影条件が良くありません
でした。
An unexpected patch of clear sky before the arrival of a typhoon here
allowed me to image Novus Mons, however the seeing was poor.
Additional image is from 19:49 UT (July 24th), CM = 343. Still working on
getting the proper color settings right with the white balance on the new
camera. Hopefully soon.
