Some reasonable seeing in a clear sky at last !
This was with the ToUcam Pro to see how well it performed on Mars. Luminance from Red filtered image in B&W mode.
Orion Optics 245mm f/6.3 Newt + 5x Powermate = f/37.   ToUcam Pro. Seeing fair/good in red band.
Transparency excellent. Temp + 10C.
Processed in Registax 3/Maxim DL/PSPro 8. Further details on the image.

Here are some Mars images from August 15th. Good seeing, with plenty visible. In R the small spot inside Hellas remians quite prominent and Nodus Alcyonius is a dark teardrop.
Most interesting is the B image. Note the haze surrounding the SPC. Hellas is misty, and a light haze is present over Libya.
14" (35cm) Celestron SCT @ f/39.5.
Lumenera LU075M CCD camera.
Seeing good (Pickering 6-8.)
Transparency excellent (6.0mag) clouds later.
No wind.  Very heavy dew.
Alt=46-50 degs.
