池村氏の画像では夕霧が良く記録されています。また、この位置からでも南
極冠はきちんと記録できています。Paulo Casquinha Palmelaはアキダリウム
(Mare Acidarium;30W,+50)から東の地方を記録していますが、NPHを通して、
下の模様を良くとらえています。(reported by 9 observers)
The evening mist is recorded well in the image of Ikemura. Moreover
the South Pole Cap can be neatly recorded from this position. The
pattern below is caught well through NPH though Paulo Casquinha Palmela
records the provinces in the east from Mare Acidarium (30W,+50).

The weather worsened after it took a picture of one shot,and only
this one piece was obtained.
Elysium of five corner type is seen in lower right.
Tears of Medusa were able to be taken.(Unofficial recognition name)

ずっと曇りだったのであきらめていたが、
24時頃つかの間の晴れ間に火星が見えたので、
急いで支度をして、とにかく撮影。
その後すぐに天候が悪化し、撮影終了。
この1枚しか得られなかった。
メデューサの涙が撮れました。(未公認名)
エリシウムの大５角形が右端に見えています。

コメント：
予想外の晴れ間が広がり、あわてて撮像しました。
300倍の眼視では、南極冠は白っぽく見えるものの形がはっきりしません。
キンメリア人の海とエリダニア地方が黒々と目立ちました。
また、エリシウムもかすかに見えていました。

Fairly poor conditions,but the first images indicates a cloud or high haze north of and
preceding the Aurorus Sinus region.

Here are some images from the 10th. Terrible conditions with dense fog. Seeing was very steady,but only a brief window where the haze became thing enough to obtain images (while Mars was still low.)
