(reported by 16 observers)

In the image of Fukui, white clouds are seen terminater. In one, Arsia
Silva (125W,-5) and another are Pavonis (110W,+10). The generation of
white clouds has extended to the north little by little. Both are the
mountains clouds. NPH looks bright this time. In these appearances, it
is caught with the visual well, and Okamoto also records the appearance.

Ralf Vandebergh(250mm Newton:ATK-1HS)
Last night it was the first really good seeing over the south of the Netherlands in a long time.
I took many IR-and blue images with the ATK-1HS and some IR and color images with the ToUcam
Here is one of the IRGB results taken with the ATK attached to a 10 inch Newton at f/60.
The NPC was already large in the blue light and very obvious visually with a nice cyan color.
Visuall impressions were exellent, especially with a 3.6mm Super Plossl oculair at 333x.

Attached is one of the near infra-red image I took on Sept.13.
Note some small 'canals' between Hellespontus and Noachis.

IRGB observation 10 inch Newton & ATK-1HS @0.08´´/p f/60

From images of my yesterdays Sept 13 observing session,I made an animation showing the
differences between an IR and blue image.Note that novus Mons is still appearing and the dark line
which is visible in the IR image corresponds with Ismenius Lacus, just below the North Polar Hood.
A small dark spot appears in the blue light in the center of Sinus Sabeaus
North is up in this animation.

Here are some further results from my Sept 13 observing session.

A Mars image taken this morning, from the UK is attached; CML = 323
degrees, with the Syrtis Major on the evening terminator. Seeing was fairly
poor. A dark feature is prominent as a small blip on that limb.

Orion Optics 245mm f/6.3 Newt + 5x Powermate projected to
7.6x = f/48.  0.13 arcsecs/pixel (7.4 micron pixels).
Lumenera LU 075M + Red, Green & Blue filters.
Transparency poor/fair. Temp + 10 C. Heavy dew, thin cloud at
times.

Captured/converted with Streampix.
Processed with Registax 3/Maxim DL/PSPro 8.
Further details on the image.

John Kirchhoff(235mm SCT" ToUcam)
Moments of good seeing mixed with fair.Calm with light dew present. Sky transparent with some light ground fog.

I send you a Mars image from this past morning - 2005/09/13 18:20 UT
Comments: Morning limb very bright, Hellas area which is about to swing
around on the limb was very reflective and bright. Blue clouds seen on the
NPH - confirmed visually with #38A blue filter.

Damian Peach (235mm Celestron SCT:Lumenera LU075)
Here are some images from the 13th in fair to good seeing. Interesting to note the "hole" in the NPH in the G images. Deuteronilus appears dark in all filters bordering the NPH in G and B.
In Blue a dusky patch is present where Deltoton Sinus once was. Hellas is misty toward the evening terminator. Chryse has some light haze which looks a touch yellowish. Edom also shows a faint mist.

14" (35cm) Celestron SCT @ f/39.5. Lumenera LU075M CCD camera.
Seeing fair-good (Pickering 4-8.) Transparency excellent (5.5mag) low clouds late.
No wind. Heavy dew. Alt= 48-53 degs.

David M. Moore(25cm Newtonian, Philips ToUcam)
These are a bit late. Monsoons have ended and cloudless skies now prevail. That does not always mean better seeing however. Images seem good, but hard to get a good focus.
As Mars gets larger, I have reduced the images 20 percent to save space.
