解説（安達）
  今日は、NPHはやや衰えたようだ。アルシア・シルバ(Arsia Silva;125W,-5)
の雲は、火星面の正午でもはっきりしてきた。 P. Clay Sherrodはアキダリウ
ム(MareAcidarium;30W,+50)に小さく、白く、明るい点を記録した。これから
先の変化に注目される。前日、ヘラスが黄色っぽく見えていたが、今日の
Damian Peachの画像では正午頃まで霧か雲に覆われている様子が記録されてい
る。これのために、黄色く見えていたのかもしれない。

NPH seemed to have become weak a little today. The cloud of Arsia Silva
(125W,-5) has been made clear at noon on the Matian surface. P. Clay
Sherrod recorded a small, white, bright spot in Mare Acidarium. The
change is paid to attention after the future. The appearance covered
with the fog or the cloud until about noon was recorded in the image
of today's Damian Peach the day before though Hellas looked like
yellow. It is likely to have looked yellow for this.

飲んで帰ってきたら起きれませんでした。
３時半過ぎは、結構いいシーイングだったので、後悔しきりです。
南半球側の描出を意識して処理してみました。

印象(眼視 NPCフィルタ使用) : 北極の雲はやや青みがかっていた。

コメント：シーイングが良く300ｘ〜450ｘの眼視では小さいながらも南極冠が
クッキリ見え、シレーンの海や太陽湖も輪郭がはっきり見えます。

The vicinity of the South Pole that seemed that the main mirror
pressure influenced it became a double image.
It has become cloudy while adjusting the telescope.


主鏡圧迫の影響と思われる南極付近が二重像になってしまい、
望遠鏡を調整しているうちに、曇ってしまいました。

天候が優れない日々がこの秋は多いようです。夕方は曇っているが
寝るころの１２時ころには快晴、２時ころは曇りだして、４時ころに晴れる
というパターンがありそうです。
３連休は、観測体制を整えて撮影しました。
山岳地の雲が、白く有るのが分かります。オリンポス山も確認できます。

画像処理を強めにしてあります。星の瞬きからすれば、思った以上の好気流でした。
オリンポス山も捉えることができました。また、白雲の変化はないようですが・・・

Attached is a Mars image taken this morning Sept 17, under fair seeing conditions.
The disk diameter has reached the 16´´ now.
(10 inch Newton & ATK-1HS IRGB observation at 0.08´´/p resolution f/60).


Attached is the best result of my September 17 Mars work.
IR-GB filtered images taken with ATK-1HS camera/10 inch Newtonian
0.08´´/p f/60.
Note the white color of Hellas at the terminator and the fine detail in the
region Hellespontis/Noachis.

Image of the large and bright North Polar region cloud or dust storm.....what is
remarkable is the strong concentration of this cloud into what does now appear to be a
possible vortex point of origin.
An incredibly large and bright thin cloud with strong central condensation or origin point
appears just south of the NPC (lower part of image, with SOUTH UP); the bright feature is
especially dominant in RGB or IR bands, suggesting the possibility of airborne dust.
Seeing was somewhat poor, but the concentration and focus of the bright cloud is very
obvious and well defined at this time.

Fair seeing for these, but excellent transparency, I had to reduce all my usual exposure times.
Also, during the last two nights with crystal clear sky, Mars looked more orange pink at the eyepiece than orange.
