(reported by 9 observers)

White clouds in the vicinity of Mare Acidarium (30W,+50) have extended
to the south a little. In the image of P.Clay Sherrod, the appearance
in the vicinity of Boreosyrtis (290W,+45) on the north side of Syrtis
major was clearly caught. It is covered with NPH at last, the appearance
has been understood for some time to come though it was not clear. In
the image of Diego Barucco, the mountains cloud of Tharsis (95W,+10)
is clearly caught.

Martin Mobberley (245mm Newton: Lumenera LU 075M)
An image taken at dawn,on Sept 26th,from the UK,is attached.
Seeing was mainly poor. The later session enabled the
Syrtis Major to just be captured on the morning limb.....

Orion Optics 245mm f/6.3 Newt + 5x Powermate projected to
~8x = f/50. 0.12 arcsecs/pixel (7.4 micron pixels).
Lumenera LU 075M + Red,Green & Blue filters.
Temp + 10 C. Heavy dew. Drifting cloud.

Captured/converted with Streampix.
Processed with Registax 3/Maxim DL/PSPro 8.

Ralf Vandebergh(250mm Newton:ATK-1HS)
Attached is a set of blue light images taken on Sept 26 at 04:44 and 05:07 UTC
Seeing was very poor in this session, and only the blue light images were acceptable,so this.
Although no sharp edges, they show some interesting detail. There are structures visbible in Mare Simmerium
and there is an obvious bright spot with round shape at the terminator, approximately in the
region Zephyria.
(10 inch Newton & ATK-1HS @0.08´´/p f/60).

I have optimized my Sept 13-22 animation, now with the South up.
Interesting is to see the differences and offset of the SPC and differences in the NPH.

Attached are my first Mars images taken with a newly-acquired firewire camera from Point Grey Research. The camera body is actually smaller than the Mogg 1 1/4" adapter.
Seeing was about average, with fast turbulence blurring detail but not "warping" the planet's disk much.
