解説（安達）
 エリシウム(Elysium;215W,+25)は、見えているが明るくない。東側は朝霧で
明るく見えている。エリダニア
(Eridania;215W,-45)付近は北半球よりもやや赤っぽく見えている。最近はヘラ
ス(Hellas;290W,-50)の東側のケンタウリ(Centauri lacus;260W,-45)が、非常
に暗く見えている。青画像からはブル−・クリアリングはシルチス・マイナー
（Syrtis mainor;260W,-5)  付近が見えている。Martin Mobberleyは良い画像
を報告してきた。ダエダリア付近はダストのベールに覆われているらしい。南
半球は全体的に暗い。

Elysium is not bright though it is seen. The east side looks bright
because of the morning mist. The vicinity of Eridania (215W,-45) looks
from the northern hemisphere a little red. Centauri lacus (260W,-45) on
the east side of Hellas (290W,-50) looks very dark recently. Blue
clearing sees the vicinity of Syrtis mainor (260W,-5) from a blue
image. Martin Mobberley has reported on a good image. The vicinity of
Daedaria (120W,-30) seems to be covered with dust veil. The southern
hemisphere is overall dark. (reported by 13 observers)

シーイングが悪く、観測意欲がなえてしまいますね。
・特に変化はなさそうです。
火星の観測は１８時前から２０時過ぎまでとし、
そろそろ夜明け前の木星観測の態勢に入ろうかと考えています。

雲に邪魔されながらの撮影でした。シーイングもかなり悪く、
小刻み揺れている状態でした。
450nm以下でのブルークリアリングは確認できませんでした。

始めたときはベランダの視界から消える直前でした。

Seeing 4-6/10 Trans 9/10

A set of Mars images taken last night from the frozen wastes of
Suffolk,UK,is attached. A perfect lunar halo,caused by ice crystals
in the upper atmosphere,was present while observing.

Mare Erythraeum is on the Meridian.

Seeing was poor visually and there was a bitterly cold gusting wind from
the NW. However,the Lumenera + Registax still salvaged a result.

Celestron 14 (356mm f/11 SCT) + 3 x Barlow = f/44
0.1 arcsecs/pixel (7.4 micron pixels)
Lumenera LU 075M + Red & Blue filters (Green simulated).

Temp + 1C but little dew in the dry,cold wind.

Transparency fair to good with some high thin cloud.

Processed with Registax 3/Maxim DL/PSPro 8.

ATK-1HS camera.

Seeing poor (Pickering 2-4.)
Transparency very good (5.5mag) scatt high clouds.
Wind NNW (~5mph.) Heavy dew. -1deg C.

I have found some Mac/PC image-reading problems in the past,and have been
trying to work out how to send .jpg images from a Mac in such a way that all
PC users can get and read the correct filename. It seems the answer is to
use Windows Base64/MIME encoding,as this also seems to turn out correct on
Macs even though it is not their default. I would appreciate being told if
anybody does not get this correctly.

I am trying to make colours and contrasts on Mars look natural at the
moment.



Working my way through the backlog of images,I have now finished Mars 16 Nov.
Please note that the last of this group was previously sent out,with a
different processing,to this list as being 21:34UT,when it is 22:34.
Sorry. I was in a hurry to get it ready for a meeting.
