解説（安達）
　南極を取り巻くような白雲が記録されている。南緯５０°前後に位置して
いるように見える。極付近は晴れているか、淡い白雲に覆われているように
見える。NPCの周囲は全周にわたって暗くなっている。

White clouds that surround the South Pole are recorded. It seems to be
located in the south latitude about 50°. The vicinity of the pole
clears up or seems to be covered with light white clouds. Surroundings
of NPC have darkened all around. (reported by 1 observer)

Here are some Mars images from the 22nd. Seeing was very good at times. The Elysium hemisphere was well placed. Some mist over Syrtis Major and Ausonia. Elysium itself is mist free. The NPC is brilliant bordered by the albedo markings of Lemuria (this was well seen visually also.)
