解説(安達)
 Christophe Pellier氏の画像に、白雲のベルトが記録されました。
アラビア(Arabia;320W,+25)からイシディス(Ishidis;
268W,+23)付近にかけて、白雲が顕著に見られます。画像の
矢印の部分が最も白くはっきりしていますが、その南方も淡く広がっ
ているようで、この時期から見え始める、程度地方の氷晶雲のように
見えます。(reported by one observer)

White cloud belt was recorded in the image of Christophe
Pellier. It was put around Isidis (268W,+23) from
Arabia (320W,+25), and a white cloud was seen
remarkably. The part of the arrow of the image is the brightest,
and then clear. But, that south seems to spread out faintly,
too. It seems to be water ice cloud of the low latitude which
it can begin to see from this time.

I think that the B image clearly shows the Equatorial cloud band (ECB). The ECB formed first during northern spring when the water vapor released by the sublimation of the NPC is important enough. It lies not on the equator itself but between the equator and the Lion tropic (on Mars !) at a latitude of 25°N. This is seen on the image, the belt is in the northern hemisphere.
I wasn't hoping this detail on a 5" disk...
