A late clearance meant a observation at an even lower altitude than culmination:
down to 13 deg. for the last shot. Still the IR shows some decent detail.

GRS just on the p limb.

I have gone back to using the Celestron. It is easier to image colours in quick
succession than with the Dall-Kirkham-Dall Cassegrain, which requires time for
refocusing.

It was clear this evening. But seeing was good.
The SEB Outbreak has really grown into a HUGE system! It's incredible that what was just a tiny spot on May 17 is not this big!! This system seem to have disrupted the STrD-2! In fact,I can barely make out STrD-2.
The NTB is interesting as half is red while the other half is pale! The NEB is very busy with a lot of rift activity.
I'll post more images later as I have about 10Gb of data to digest today!
Note the spot at the NEBn which the hook like feature (ala STrD) at the NEBn? Is this a new spot?

I build up the gear for a nice ISS transit last night but clouds were in the way regretly but saw 2 brightnings halfway through the clouds due to the extra solarpanel an prob. shuttle attached to it. Owell near the horizon Jupiter was looming and weak shining through the upper clouded cover it was the only object I could detect,so I couldn't resist to take my first plunch in this season, after one minute the show was over but had the excitement to see the GRS in total isolation to the rest of the features on Jupiter and that just 15 degrees above the horizon...I will remember this night for long
