Condition was very good this evening. I was able to capture the SEB outbreak and it looks stunning. The look of Jupiter has really changed especially the images below the GRS. Note also that the left side of the GRS shows the faded SEB while the right side shows the revived SEB!!
The nice thing is that the SED is passing below this feature again!! It will be interesting to see how both systems will interact in the next few days. It is interesting to see the revival of the SEBs. The STrD-2 is stil there but it seems to have been overrun by the outbreak.
There is an interesting double spot at the NEB embedded in a rift system. Note the interesting red features at the NNTB.

The Europe transit and also the GRS on face,Little surprised I could detect both the moon and it's shadow at that height, other avis has to wait due to a firm headache.

Here's a Jupiter from July 17. the seeing was average
and the transparency very good. I'm rather
satisfacted by the result considering the low
altitude and tha aperture of my telescope.
The GRS is almost at the central meridian in this image.
It's interesting to see the contrast of the SEBs preceding
and following the GRS,SEBs preceding the GRS is really
pale while the one following is dark. There is a big rift in
the NEB just at the north of the GRS. Note also the big
white spot in the S3TB.

Here are some images of Jupiter and Europa taken on the 17th in good conditions
for London, just before I went to France to try to get some from a lower latitude.
Turbulence following GRS is well-seen. The GRS itself has a dark S edge and
centre. S Trop disturbance is visible on the f side with a hint of the dark
spots circulating round it. There are also some interesting brick-red spots in
the NEB N edge.
