解説（安達）
メリディアニ(Meridiani;0W,-5)付近を中心としたダストは、かなり淡くなり、
エドム(Edom;349W,0)やマルガリティファー(Sinus Mrgaritifer;20W,-10)が暗く
見えるようになった。風本氏の画像では、エリシウム(Elysium;215W,+25)に赤っ
ぽいバンドが見られる。今シーズンのエリシウムには暗い模様が見られているが、
赤色をした姿は初めてのことだ。
Damian Peachの画像は、表面の微細な様子をよく記録している。メリディアニの
姿が興味深い。南極冠がはっきりと記録されている。(reported by 7 observers)
Dust centering on near Meridiani (0W,-5) became quite light. Edom
(349W,0) and Sinus Mrgaritifer (20W,-10) came to look dark. By the image
of Kazemoto, a reddish band is in Elysium (215W,+25). A dark pattern is
now looked at by Elysium of a season. However, it is first that the
figure which carried out red is in sight. The image of Damian Peach is
often recording the situation with the detailed surface. The figure of
Meridiani is interesting. SPC is recorded clearly. (reported by 7

Please find enclosed an image of Mars from this morning (25th). It is good to see Mars now getting noticeably bigger. ATiK 1HS,C14 and a barlow (with a surprise visit from a hedgehog and attempted sabotage from one of the cats).

Here are some images from Aug 25th in good seeing. This hemisphere has cleared allot in the last month,but the markings are still rather poorly contrasted in red light compared to normal. Clearly there is still much airborne dust. Hellas - Noachis to Argyre is bright band across the disk. Pandorae Fretum is dark. Deucalionis Regio is also darkened. Mare Acidalium is now weakly visible.
