Subject: my best ever pictures of ISS (from last night)
I had just luck last night to capture ISS/Atlantis during the 2nd spacewalk, just before
the clouds and rain arrived. These are also my best ever images of the station.
In the movie,Atlantis is marked by a yellow circel.
I had this time also luck to see the Shuttle from a good angle. The images need
a better analyses to see what is visible eventually from the spacewalk which was
just at the start of the 4th hour.
Images as always: 10in Newton/ATK-1HS/11 camera/manually tracked.
ISS/Atlantis June 13, additional images
I have attached an interesting comparison of the images taken during the june 11,
and june 13 spacewalks, were we see in the june 11 images the newly added truss
segment just a few hours installed, with still retracted solar arrays.the second image
from june 13 shows a similar viewing-angle of the station with now the unfolded new
solar arrays. This compilation shows thus in 2 images very quick the main-results
of this STS-117 mission!

Attached is a slightly improved version.Taken during 2nd EVA)
We recognise different part of the Shuttle.
Taken using a 10in Newton with ATK-1HS camera while manually
tracked using a finderscope.
