梅雨の晴れ間を有効活用しようと長時間撮像してみましたが
シ−イングの変化が激しく、また雲にも時々邪魔されました。
最後は雲のほうが多くなり、撮像は断念しました。

Condition was very poor this evening. It was mostly cloudy and I had to image Jupiter through clouds! Transparency was very poor and so was seeing.
The GRS and BA are close to the CM. Note the bright long feature emanating from the northern edge of the GRS through the SEB. No sign of the LRS in this image.

夕方から２１時頃まで、雷雨もあり不安定な気候でしたが、
予測が当たって９時半頃から晴れ渡ってきました。シーイングも比較的良く、
透明度はまあまかなと言うところでした。

All: Finally got good weather and time to image big Jup. A very hot and humid evening allowed fairly steady skies even though Jupiter was still over two hours from transit. I saw more clouds coming from the south so I was only able to get this one series in. Pitty! I think given the conditions,the images would have been some of the best this year if the clouds had not come back in.Thanks Dave Moore

Better transparency this time with an overall decent view of the
GRS/BA oval (given the low imaging altitude..) but seeing was still
kind of hit or miss. Hopefully conditions will improve a notch
after the rainy season finally ends.
前回より透明度が良かったけど、シーイングは安定せず、イマイチでした。LRSがもう消滅したようですね。

久しぶりのGRS。注目度ナンバー１ですかね。
シーングがイマイチですが、やっとGRSに巡り合えた感じ。

I am slow to send these images out,but work has kept me busy the past week. I have attached one set of R,IR,and Methane images form July 12 taken around 5H UT. I had a lot of equipment problems that night,and there were the closest set of filtered images taken close to the transit of GRS and associated intercating features.
All image were though my 30cm SCT @ f20 captured with a Lumenera Lu075M CCD. The red and IR images were taken with Schuler filters,and the Methane is a Custom Scientific filer (18nm HWHM). Additional data on the image. Note,the Methane image was not dark frame corrected due to equipment problems and has scattered hot pixels.
