透明度の悪いモヤ〜とした空で、風が強く、シーイングも今一つでした。
アトラクスが不調となり、GPDを引っ張り出しましたが、風による揺れや
振動で撮影効率ががた落ちです。

Finally a clear night! Seeing wasn't great though.
The SEB is very busy. Note the red spot at the SEB. Note that one of the SSTB white is bright in Methane band. Note also the dark band at the STB.
Note the large dark spots at the NEBn! There is also a large white spot at the NTrZ.

I feel deeply ashamed finding out that my first image dated July23 was correct.
So please ignore the correction stating that it was July 24.
I suppose the shortage of sleep was the reason of this error.
I am very sorry. I herewith again attach the correct image.
I have made a small gif movie,showing the considerable rotation of Jupiter in 18 min]
Moving objects are very useful to produce 3D images.
Here a stereo image of Jupiter of 23 July 2008,produced with the program
3D FotoStudio and which must be viewed with a red-green spectacles
