A tantalisingly good view of the planet ruined by 'stream' like seeing. A few clouds were dodging through the area too which truncated the session.

Here are some images from this morning. It seems to me the SEB has perhaps already started fading. It certainly seems fainter in the centre of the belt than earlier this apparition forming a prominent SEB zone. Its present appearance is very similar to how it appeared before it faded in 2007 (though without the south tropical disturbances this time.) The GRS also looks pale.

Imagenes con seeing medio. He tratado de captar la Mancha roja y la
perturbacion ecuatorial norte.

Another dawn under very good conditions and an interesting view on the turbulences going on in the NEB.

Finally the improving conditions allowed me to use a better focal lenght, for the first time on Jupiter since 2006 !
The set of images show the NTZ spot. It's the darkest feature of the planet in every wavelenght.

Moderate seeing. The GRS is rather pale.

One thing that strikes me is how in blue light the new NTrZ dark spot is
continuous with the NEB and seems part of the general turbulence following on
the N edge, but how in IR (and R) it is completely separate and unique, the
difference not being attributable to any difference in sharpness of the images.

The vortex in the GRS is resolved, pleasingly for this altitude.
